Private Music Lessons
Music is something that everybody needs in one way or another. I’m here to provide you with private music lessons through onsite (in Nanaimo at your home) or online instruction.
This allows you to learn from the comfort of your own home, on your terms, and without fighting through traffic.
Learning from your own home allows you to work on material immediately after our lesson.
This fosters greater retention of knowledge over time.
My main instrument and specialization is on all levels of guitar.
I also teach:
- Introductory piano*, trumpet, and clarinet
- Intermediate bass and vocals
- Advanced theory, harmony, composition, and rhythm
- *Piano can only be taught in-home
I have successfully taught players of every instrument family from my guitar, so the only things I can’t teach are instrument specific techniques.
I’ll come to you for onsite lessons (in Nanaimo).
Onsite or Digital lessons are:
$75.00 per 60 minute lesson
$40.00 per 30 minute lesson
Flexible rates available for low income people/families.

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students from 4 years old all the way up to 85. Throughout this experience, I’ve taught in private school settings, University settings, group settings, and private one-on-one settings. This experience has provided me many opportunities to learn how to teach different individuals.
